NIZAMABAD: Dharmapuri Sanjay, Mayor, Municipal Corporation of Nizamabad has assured vegetable vendors that he will ensure sanction of group loans to them provided they come forward in groups to avail the facility. Addressing a meeting after inaugurating the D.S. Vegetable Market Complex constructed at a cost of Rs. 3 lakhs in the 11th division here on Friday, he said the idea behind construction of the complex was to discourage roadside trading as it was affecting the free flow of traffic. A similar complex will also come up at Vinayaknagar on Hyderabad road to facilitate farmers and vendors coming from nearby villages to sell their produce. Another idea was to eliminate the middlemen system, he added.
