Couple among five held for murder

HYDERABAD:
The police on Friday arrested five persons, including a couple, in connection with the recent murder of watchman of a private building R. Kurumaiah in Alwal.
Some locals of Suryanagar Colony in Alwal allegedly picked Kurumaiah along with four others suspecting them to be thieves and subjected them to torture leading to the watchman's death on Monday last. The police subsequently found that neither Kurumaiah nor the other four persons had any criminal record.
They arrested Narasimha, his wife Laxmi, and their neighbours — Venkatesh, Raju and Bhishma — on the charge of committing the murder.
