PALAKKAD: Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has said that the LDF Government will take stern action on complaints of harassment of women. At a press conference here on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that when a woman air passenger's husband had made a complaint about an alleged harassment by a Minister, he immediately ordered an inquiry by a senior woman police officer. The inquiry report would be submitted within 10 days and action would be taken on getting it, the Chief Minister said. He said that the aggrieved woman had written a letter to him appreciating his quick decision of ordering an probe into the incident. It was handed over to Inspector-General of Police B. Sandhya, who was the inquiry officer.
