IN SEARCH OF MP: Taking note of: Journalists noting down details of the court notice, pasted by the Bihar Police on the gate of Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Sadhu Yadav's residence in New Delhi on Saturday. The notice is in connection with an assault case.
NEW DELHI:
A Bihar police team is here to execute a non-bailable warrant issued against Sadhu Yadav, Member of Parliament and brother-in-law of Railway Minister Lalu Yadav, in connection with an assault case registered at Gopalganj in Bihar.
Early on Saturday morning, the team visited 15 Janpath, the official residence of Mr. Sadhu Yadav but he was not there.
The occupants of the bungalow said they did not know where he was.
A couple of days ago he was seen in Parliament.
It is learnt that the Delhi police had been informed about the warrant over a fortnight ago. Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Anand Mohan said: "The Bihar police team contacted us this morning and we gave them some assistance."
