VIJAYWADA : Nearly 300 people, led by leaders of Communist Party of India (Marxist), squatted in front of the office of the city police commissioner here on Monday demanding the department personnel expedite investigation into the case of a missing girl from Paykapuram police station limits. G. Velangini, a 17-year-old married girl from Singhnagar area went missing on August 18. According to a complaint lodged by her grandfather Venkataiah with the Paykapuram police, one Narendra, a sales representative who lived in the upper portion of the same building, lured Velangini into a trap and took her away from her family.
