Suguna group's expansion plans

CHENNAI: Suguna Poultry Farms Ltd., the flagship company of the Suguna group, has entered the North Indian markets. According to B. Soundararajan, Managing Director, the company had initiated the contract farming concept under which more than 12,000 farmers were reaping benefits. As part of the expansion, the company has started operations in Punjab and will shortly be entering Haryana with a proposed regional base in New Delhi. The company is planning to invest around Rs. 50 crore in the next three years.
