Toyota Innova is quickest to 50,000

BANGALORE : Toyota Innova has clocked record sales of 50,000 units in 17 months since its launch, making it the fastest-selling vehicle to reach the mark in the Rs. 5 lakh and above vehicle category in India, a press release said. The figure is for both multi-purpose vehicle and sedan categories. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has sold over 22,700 vehicles between January and July 2006, registering a growth of 26 per cent over the same period last year, the release added.
