Jockey suspended

P. Belose, who rode Last'N Impression in the Ace Plate (Div. II) on August 26, was reported to the Stewards by the Stipes for causing interference to the horses on his inside at the start (worst affected was Star Galaxy). Further Dallas Todywalla (Trainer of Star Galaxy) also lodged a complaint against the riding of Belose. The Stewards interviewed both Belose and Todywalla and having heard their submission were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Belose and decided to suspend his Jockey's Licence from Sept. 10 to 23, for careless and improper riding.
