Pondicherry: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy told the Assembly on Tuesday that a Yatri Niwas would be constructed near the famous shrine of Sri Saneeswarar in Tirunallar in Karaikal at a cost of Rs.21 lakh. He said while replying to the views expressed by members during the debate on departments including District Administration that the Housing and Urban Development Corporation had also provided funds to develop Tirunallar as a temple town. He said that amenities to pilgrims visiting the temple would be augmented with the help of the HUDCO-funded projects.
