Always on a record track
Be it an annual day or a sports event, the joyous occasion is sure to be etched in the history of an institution.
But for an institution like St. John's Vestry Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, which was started in 1763 at the initiative of Christian Fredrick Schwartz, every event creates a history in itself.
The 244th annual sports meet of the school proved to be yet another historical event with a maximum number of students participating in various events such as short-put, ball badminton, javelin throw and 100-metre relay, under their respective sports houses. The Inspector General of Police (Central Zone), Jaffar Sait, took the salute and Parveen Jaffar, distributed prizes to the winners.
