BEIJING: The Communist Party of China (CPC) on Tuesday said that it has asked all leading cadres to provide their personal details, including investments, changes in their marital status and other such information. A circular requesting personal details of the cadres was issued after a meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, which was presided over by President Hu Jintao on Tuesday. The circular said the goal of collecting the details was to strengthen the party's internal supervision and ensure clean and honest governance. Xinhua
