Inter-institutional table tennis

NEW DELHI: The 36th all-India inter-institutional table tennis championships will be played at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bangalore, from September 1 to 5.

Reigning champion Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) has been seeded top in both men's and women's team events. The men's team championship comprises 20 teams divided into four groups, while in the women's category there will be nine teams in two groups.

In the individual championship, A. Sharath Kamal and Poulomi Ghatak are given pride of place in the men's and women's sections respectively.
