LONDON : The Formula One calendar will be trimmed to 17 Grands Prix next year with Germany and Italy each losing one of its two races, the governing body said on Tuesday.The International Automobile Federation (FIA) said in a statement that the World Motor Sport Council had approved the calendar. While the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps returns after being cancelled this year, there were no slots for either the San Marino or European GP. The 2007 calendar: March 18: Australian GP; April 8: Malaysian GP; April 15: Bahrain GP; May 13: Spanish GP; May 27: Monaco GP; June 10: Canadian GP; June 17: U.S. GP; July 1: French GP; July 8: British GP; July 22: German GP; August 5: Hungarian GP; August 26: Turkish GP; September 9: Italian GP; September 16: Belgian GP; September 30: Chinese GP; October 7: Japanese GP; October 21: Brazilian GP.
