NEW YORK: Justine Henin-Hardenne won the 2003 U.S. Open for one of her five Grand Slam titles, but she isn't necessarily in love with the tournament. ``It's not my favourite one,'' the second-seeded Belgian said after getting past the first hurdle. ``It's the last Grand Slam of the season. Everyone gets a little bit tired. It's pretty busy I mean New York, busy city. But it's a different atmosphere: night session and the New York crowd. It's different. I like it, but it's not my favourite one.'' Henin-Hardenne is trying to become the first woman since Martina Hingis in 1997 to reach the finals of all four Majors in a single year. She was the runner-up at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and won the French Open. ``I'm not thinking too much about what could happen here,'' she said.
Arm injury
Lindsay Davenport is still waiting to see the WTA Tour do something to reduce the wear and tear on players. ``We've had this problem now five or seven years, where a lot of the top players are always injured,'' the three-time major champion said. ``We've asked for changes. We just keep asking. Hopefully, one day someone will heed our request.'' AP
