CHANDIGARH: Union Law Minister Hans Raj Bhardwaj said on Tuesday that 150 judges were being appointed in various High Courts every third year and it was necessary to resolve the legal problems coming in the way of setting up an independent High Court for Haryana. Talking to media persons in Bhiwani, the Minister said that with the appointment of a number of judges to High Courts every third year, the pending cases were being disposed of speedily. He emphasised that cases making a deep impact on society should be resolved on a priority basis. A Bill was being introduced for the safety of the witness to improve the system of providing justice. Mr. Bhardwaj said Rs.1,000 crore would be spent to strengthen the basic infrastructure of judicial courts in the country by providing computers, modern technology and facility of data video conferencing. And 6,000 rural mobile courts would be set up to ensure justice to the rural people economically and easily. Nearly Rs.1,700 crore was being spent on fast track courts already set up in the country. Later the Minister visited the family of the late Thandi Ram Chauhan in Tosham and paid floral tributes.
