MYSORE: Continuing with his stay in rural areas, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will be staying overnight at Sindhuvalli village near here on Wednesday. Minister for Housing D.T. Jayakumar told presspersons on Tuesday that the Chief Minister would be staying at Sindhuvalli village, near Kadakola to understand the problems of rural folk. Sindhuvalli village with a population of around 1,500, falls in Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency. The Minister said Mr. Kumaraswamy would be staying in a classroom in the Government school in the village. Asked if the Chief Minsiter was staying in Chamundeshwari constituency to appease the voters of the area from where former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was likely to contest, he said, "There is nothing wrong in taking political mileage by staying overnight in Sindhuvalli village."
Visit to Nanjangud
The Chief Minister will be visiting the temple town of Nanjangud on Thursday to take part in a programme to launch a series of development works.
Inauguration
Mr. Kumarswamy will be either inaugurating or laying foundation stone for 30 development works worth over Rs. 120 crore. Later, he will visit Lord Nanjundeshwara Temple.
