Campaign launched to promote Government schemes

NALGONDA: Press Information Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, on Tuesday launched a public information campaign on Bharat Nirman to showcase programmes introduced by Union and State Governments.

As many as 80 stalls were set up to propagate the schemes. "The five-day festival is aimed at creating awareness among the people about Government-sponsored schemes," C.G.K. Murthy, Director, PIB, said in his inaugural address.

As part of the campaign, artistes of the field publicity wing staged cultural shows in villages surrounding the town. The I&B Ministry put up for sale 400 titles, its business manager S. Nageswar Rao said.
