90 participants from Dakshina Kannada for CITU conference

MANGALORE: Ninety representatives from Dakshina Kannada district will participate in the state-level conference of the Centre for Indian Trade Unions (CITU) to be held at Bellary, a press release from Vasanth Achari, district secretary of CITU, has stated.

Representatives from the district would include anganwadi workers, auto drivers, akshara dasoha workers, construction workers, beedi workers, tile factory workers, auto drivers, workers engaged in cashew cultivation, panchayat members, bank employees, State and Central Government employees.

CITU president M.K. Pandhe, M.P, will inaugurate the conference.

State president of CITU B. Madhava Rao will preside over the conference.
