Traffic changes in Besant Nagar

CHENNAI:
The city police have announced traffic changes in Besant Nagar.
According to a press note issued here on Tuesday, there will be a change in traffic system on September 2, 3, 4 and 7 in view of the festival underway at the famous Velankanni Church from August 29 to September 8.
Vehicles coming from Adyar (ML Park), proceeding towards Besant Avenue Road, shall reach Besant Nagar terminus via Fourth Avenue and take Besant Nagar I Main Road to reach Tiruvanmiyur and Adyar.
Vehicles coming from Tiruvanmiyur to Besant Nagar shall go via Kalakshetra, Beach Road, 29th cross, Besant Nagar I Main Road and reach the bus terminus.
Vehicles coming from Adyar shall take Mahatma Gandhi Salai, Besant Nagar I Main Road and reach Besant Nagar terminus.
Vehicles coming from Oorur Kuppam, proceeding towards Adyar, shall take Besant Nagar Fifth Main Road and Besant Avenue Road, the note concluded.
