Awards for five NTPC staff

HYDERABAD:
Five employees of the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, Ramagundam, were recently conferred `Viswakarma Rashtriya Puraskar' by the Union Labour Ministry. They are C.M. Mohan Rao, K. Nagesh, Raja Mahender Reddy, Ch. Kamalakar and Mohd. Osman. They belong to the O&M MGR-Fuel Management department.
The awards were in recognition of their `outstanding' contribution to `innovative' development of an anti-collision device installed in diesel locomotives which are used for hauling coal rakes from the mines. S.C. Pandey, NTPC General Manager, Ramagundam, congratulated the five employees.
