Good response to monsoon rally

KOLKATA: The fourth Tata Bearings Monsoon rally, a Rs. 2.5 lakhs prize-money event to be held on Friday and Saturday, has attracted a record 50 entries — 25 in the four-wheeler category and as many in the two-wheeler class — with almost all the top-notch drivers from east India in the fray.

The first leg of the time-speed-distance format rally will be flagged off from Kolkata and will end at Jamshedpur on the first day. The second leg will resume at the steel city and will end at Khargapur the next day. — Special Correspondent
