Gritty knock by Anjum

London: Anjum Chopra hit a gritty 98 to help Indian women score 307 in their first innings against England on the second day of the final Test at Taunton county ground on Wednesday.

Chopra, who hit nine boundaries in her 295-ball stay, got an able partner in Rumali Dhar, who scored 43 off 86 balls.

The scores: India 307 (M. Raj 65, A. Chopra 98, Rumali Dhar 43, Isa Guha four for 61). vs England
