A new ray of hope in engineering

Khammam district has made imparting quality technical education, as its forte. "Bomma Institute of Technology & Science - (BITS)," is established in Khammam by well-known "Bomma Rajeswara Rao Educational Welfare Society" to provide quality technical education at affordable fee structure to all classes of the society. BITS is approved by AICTE and recognised by Govt. of A.P and affiliated to JNTU. Admissions are in progress for 2006 - 07.

The college is located in a serene atmosphere within the Gram Panchayat of Allipuram at a distance of 8 KMs from Khammam railway station. With a sprawling campus of 80,000 sq.ft, spacious buildings, updated laboratories, workshops, waiting halls, hostel, staff rooms, canteen facilities, BITS is built with international standards.

Courses: Computer Science & Engineering - 60, Electronics & Communications Engineering - 60, Electrical & Electronics Engineering - 60, Information Technology - 60.

English language development laboratories to face GRE, TOEFL to teach 30 students at a time as per JNTU syllabus are built. Learning resource centers with volumes of journals, books are stored. Apart from studies, sports and other curricular activities are given major importance.

Free Internet facility to gain knowledge and to know the world around is made available round the clock.

Canteen with hygienic food, separate hostel facility for girls and boys and bus facility for students from surrounding places is provided to make study a hassle free job for the students.

Bomma Rajeswara Rao, the famous industrialist has established "Bomma Institute of Technology & Science," on a higher note with rich experience gained by running "SRR Engineering College," at Karepally.

Prof. A. Satyanarayana who has 38 years of experience to his credit at various levels of teaching at National Institute of Information Technology, Warangal is heading the institute as Principal.

While Mr. M. Sesha Phani, the Dean of BITS has 45 years solid experience in technical education, who is associated with State Board of Technical Education & Training Institute as Secretary and Principal of many Engineering Colleges.

Under such management and faculty, "Bomma Institute of Technology & Science," is set to be "A jewel in the Crown," in the field of technical education.
