KADAPA: Telugu Desam Party district president R. Ramesh Kumar Reddy on Wednesday promised to stand by party workers who dared Congress in recent elections and assured recognition of services of active party workers. Addressing a meeting of party workers at Lakkireddipalle, he thanked them for boldly daring Congressmen in elections braving hardships. TDP would conduct a special medical camp for chikungunya patients in Lakkireddipalle mandal on September 6. TDP State Minority Cell Chairman V.S. Ameer Babu warned of action against partymen who betrayed party candidates in recent elections. Party meetings were being held all over the district to review the party's election strategy. TDP would regain power in the ensuing Assembly elections as people were vexed with Congress rule, he said. The Government failed to check chikungunya and hence TDP mooted medical camps under the aegis of NTR Trust, Mr. Ameer Babu said. Lakkireddipalle mandal president Umapathi Reddy and others were present.
