Held for robbery
NEW DELHI:
A 30-year-old man allegedly involved in cases of robbery and snatching has been arrested in Sarita Vihar here by the Special Staff of the South Delhi police. The police claim to have recovered a country-made firearm from him.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Delhi) Anil Shukla, after the arrest of one Raju Sansi in connection with snatching cases in June, another gang member, Raju Ganja, was arrested in Mumbai. Investigations revealed that Raju Ganja's elder brother Murari had taken over as the gang leader.On Tuesday, the police received a tip-off that Murari would come to Jaitpur in Sarita Vihar from where he was arrested.
