Defence Attache recalled

NEW DELHI: On the eve of Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Germany, the Army has recalled its Defence Attache in Berlin as he was "seen to be interfering in acquisition" of certain weapon system, said sources in the Army headquarters here.

Brigadier P.C. Panjikar was asked to come back before the end of his term as he was performing "certain actions not in the charter" of duties.
