Two youths drown in well

Bangalore:
Two youths drowned while they were swimming in a well in a farmhouse at Kempapura Dasarahalli, off Bellary Road, on Wednesday afternoon.
The police gave the names of the dead as Guruprasad (18) and Srinivas (18). The police said that four youths went to swim in the well in the afternoon. One body has been recovered.
The Fire and Emergency Services personnel are helping the police recover the body of the other victim.
CDs seized
The south division police on Tuesday raided two shops in Subramanyapura police station limits and seized 504 pirated VCDs, estimated at Rs. 1 lakh. The raids were conducted on shops in Ittamadu, the police said. In another case, the Hanumanthanagar police on seized 212 pirated CDs, estimated at Rs. 11,000.
