Rs. 50,000 per flat is the maintenance fee at Mantri Altius

NEW LANDMARK: A view of Mantri Altius on Raj Bhavan Road in Bangalore.

Bangalore: "Bungalow in the sky" is how Mantri Altius on Raj Bhavan Road is being called. Fifteen exclusive and luxurious apartments are getting ready and this landmark in property development in the city was inaugurated on Wednesday and its occupants will be shifted into the flats in the next few weeks.

Chairman and Managing Director of Mantri Developers Sushil Mantri said: "It is a matter of days, you will come to know about them." One of the occupants is Mr. Mantri himself, taking the penthouse. Of the 15 occupants, two are non-resident Indians and the rest from Bangalore from the garment and IT sector. And all of them are in the age group of 40 to 50.

The 15 flats, with a built up area of 5,515 sq. feet each, have been sold from Rs. 3 crore to Rs. 9 crore each.

Each of the 15 occupants will cough up Rs. 50,000 as monthly maintenance. Yes, of course it will be inclusive of the usage of the club, which is located on the ground and first floor. The basement is for car parking, to accommodate four luxury cars for each flat.

Designed by the Singapore-based RSP Architects, Altius is one of the most expensive properties in the city.
