PSGCAS wins

Coimbatore: PSG College of Arts and Science won its league engagements with ease to emerge champion in the Bharathiar University inter-collegiate football league for men at the varsity stadium here on Thursday.

Sree Narayana Guru College of Arts and Science, with a better goal average, finished second ahead of host Bharathiar University Departments.

The results (league): PSGCAS bt Bharathiar University Dept 3-0; bt Hindustan CAS 6-0; Sree Narayana Guru CAS drew with Bharathiar University 1-1; Bharathiar University bt Hindustan CAS 1-0. Final standings: 1. PSG CAS 9, 2. Sree Narayana Guru 4, Bharathiar University 4.
