The Hindu Open from October 4

Chennai: The Hindu Open, one of the prestigious golfing events of the Aamby Valley PGAI Tour, will be held at the Cosmo TNGF course here from October 4 to 7.

The four-day competition, featuring the best among the professionals, is programmed to climax the two preceding events — The Hyundai TNGF (with Pro Am), and Madras Gymkhana Club (with Pro Am) — to be played here.

The following is the programme released by Tiger Sports Marketing Pvt. Ltd.: Sept. 20 to 23: The Hyundai TNGF Open (Rs. 12 lakhs; Cosmo TNGF Course). Sept. 24: Pro Am. Sept. 26 to 29: MGC Open (Rs. 15 lakhs; Gymkhana Club Course). Sept. 30: Pro Am. Oct. 4 to 7: The Hindu Open (Rs. 10 lakhs; Cosmo TNGF). Oct. 11 to 14: Southern Open (Rs. 12 lakhs; KGA, Bangalore). Oct. 15: Pro Am. Oct. 30 to Nov. 2: PGA Shillong Open (Rs. 10 lakhs; Shillong Golf Course). Oct. 29: Pro Am. Nov. 6: Pro Am. Nov. 7 to 10: Tata Open (Rs. 20 lakhs; Jamshedpur). Nov. 14: Pro Am. Nov. 15 to 18: Surya Nepal Masters (Rs. 12 lakhs; Gokarna Forest Golf Resort, Kathmandu). Nov. 21 to 24: Indian Oil XtraPremium Masters (Rs. 12 lakhs; Digboi Club Golf Links). Nov. 25: Pro Am.
