KOLLAM: Minister for Labour P.K. Gurudasan will inaugurate the All Kerala Musicians and Technicians Welfare Association at a function at the Swaralaya Open Air auditorium here on Saturday. Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran will distribute the identity cards of the association to the members. President of the association Edava Basheer and general secretary Perumon Dilip said it would be known as Amuse. It is the first organisation in the State for musicians. Amuse aims at bringing together singers, those playing musical instruments and technicians, those connected with sound control and recording. The organisation will strive to ensure job security, revive certain musical instruments and better the quality of music. It will also organise study camps on music, hold musical programmes in the State and outside.
