ALAPPUZHA: More than 10,000 litres of hooch was seized last week in raids held across the district. As many as 217 raids were conducted and 19 cases registered. Alappuzha Assistant Excise Commissioner N.J. Mathai said that 16 persons were held in this connection. He said raids would continue and the public could give information in this regard to the control room at any time.
