MANGALORE: Shree Devi Institute of Technology (SDIT), promoted by Shree Devi Education Trust (SDET), will be formally inaugurated in October, according to A. Sadananda Shetty, chairman of the Trust. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, and recognised by the All-India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Mr. Shetty told presspersons here on Wednesday that the engineering college was located at Kenjar on the road to the airport. The college offered four-year B.E. degree course in mechanical engineering, computer science, information technology and electronics and communications, he said. Each branch had an approved intake of 60 students.
