Career Meet on September 8

Private companies invited to participate

SALEM: District Employment Office (DEO) in association with Rotary Club of Salem South will conduct the 70th Career Meet at 2.30 p.m. on its premises on September 8.

Jobs

According to a release from Assistant Director of DEO S. Chandran, many private organisations will recruit candidates for the following jobs: receptionist, typist, accountant, salesmen, marketing executive, fitter, electrician welder, clerk, attendant, plumber, motor mechanic, supervisor and teachers for various subjects.

Candidates who have registered with the DEO for a government employment can also participate.

Registration

The DEO will not cancel the registration of those who get selected.

They can continue to renew their registration, the release says.

The DEO has also invited private companies to participate in the meet, which is a free service.

The companies should provide details regarding the nature of job, qualification requirements and number of vacancies to the DEO by September 7.
