PATHANAMTHITTA: The Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) opened its eleventh office in the State at Pathanamthitta on Thursday. The new office is in the Chembothra Chambers on the Ring Road. Addressing a press conference prior to the inaugural function, HDFC Regional Manager (Kerala and Tamil Nadu) Mathew Joseph said the corporation would extend "seamless service to customers to buy their dream house located anywhere in the country.'' He said the HDFC followed a single-window concept and offered free property counselling services for a variety of individual needs as well as legal and technical guidance to its customers. He said the HDFC had 219 outlets and 90 outreach locations in the country. This is besides the international office in Dubai and service associates in the Gulf to serve Non-Resident Indians, he added. Mr. Joseph said more than 40 per cent of the HDFC business in the Middle East was for Keralites. He said that a total of 1,38,000 units had already been financed by the corporation in Kerala alone.
