Big win for Kannur

THALASSERY: Host Kannur crushed Wayanad by an innings and 144 runs on the final day of the North Zone (under-22) inter-district cricket championship match here on Friday. Kannur got five points.

The scores: Kannur 393 for seven bt Wayanad 140 in 42 overs (Juno K. George 33, Jomin Joseph 33, M.P. Manu three for 39) and 109 in 44.3 overs (N.V. Valeed six for 51, Shazin three for 20).
