ALAPPUZHA: Kerala Gazetted Officers Union (KGOU) State general secretary N. Aravindakshan has said the LDF Government is transferring employees belonging to service organisations affiliated to opposition parties paying scant regard to norms. At a press conference here on Friday, Mr. Aravindakshan said the reasons for the transfers were only political. He said the Government transferred even employees who were to retire in a year. A large number of women employees and those suffering from chronic diseases were also transferred to distant places against rules, Mr. Aravindakshan said. He said the transfers of present nature would not benefit the Government in any way, as the transferred would not change their unions. The society would also not benefit as it was not the inefficient who were transferred.
