Helmet rule implementation deferred

BANGALORE: The State Government has deferred till November 1 the rule that two-wheeler riders and those riding pillion should compulsorily wear helmet.

Sources in the city police said that they would not enforce the helmet rule till November 1 in accordance with the new order issued by the Government on Friday.

The Commissioner of Police had earlier announced that the helmet rule would be enforced from September 1.
