Drive against autorickshaws

BANGALORE: The traffic police will launch a special drive from Saturday to book those autorickshaw drivers who have not displayed the driver's licence details card in their vehicles.

According to an official press release here on Friday, the drivers have to compulsorily display the card next to the fare metre. They should display the original card and not the photocopy of it. Strict action would be taken against those found violating these instructions, the release said.
