N. Korea flays U.S.

SINGAPORE: With the United States announcing success in testing an interceptor that could shoot down North Korea's planned long-range ballistic missile, Pyongyang lashed out against Washington on Saturday.

As monitored in Seoul, the North's State-run Central Broadcasting Station characterised the U.S. missile defence test as "a drill to attack us [the DPRK] from the American soil."
