Vennikkulam award for P.K. Gopi

PATHANAMTHITTA: Poet P.K. Gopi has been selected for this year's Mahakavi Vennikkulam Memorial Literary Award, instituted by the Thadiyoor-based Dakshina Samskarika Vedi.

Gopi's anthology of Malayalam poems, `Chiranthanom', won him the award, Vedi leaders said at a press conference here on Friday. The award would be presented to Gopi by Deputy Speaker Jose Baby.
