All-Indian final

NEW DELHI: Chandril Sood and Ronak Manuja set up an all-Indian final in the ITF juniors grade-IV tennis tournament at Islamabad.

In the semifinals, Chandril beat Shiva Sangwan 6-4, 6-4 and Ronak outplayed Rahul Belwal 6-0, 6-3.

In the doubles final, the Sood brothers lost 2-6, 6-2, 1-6 to the top-seeded Ryan Cheung of the U.S. and Krittanu Puthong of Thailand.

In the girls' section, Karina Ahuja and Vishakha Sheoran lost in the semifinals. Karina lost 5-7, 4-6 to the top seed Prariyawat Ratanakrong of Thailand while Vishakha lost 1-6, 4-6 to Parichart Charoensukployphol of Thailand.

Vishakha, however, won the doubles title as she in partnership with Prariyawat Ratanakrong of Thailand beat Karina Ahuja and Mohana Chintala 6-4, 6-3 in the final.
