Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Aspirants for engineering and medical courses in the State can start re-submitting their course/college options online on September 11. The window for re-submitting the options will close at 5 p.m. on September 15.

A pressnote issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations here on Saturday said the option facilitation centres across the State would assist the students to register their options at the designated website.

The first allotment of all courses would be done online at 5 p.m. on September 17. Candidates can remit the required fee at the selected branches of the Canara bank on September 18, 19 and 20. The candidates will have time from September 18 to 20 to cancel or alter higher order options. The first re-allotment will be published at 5 p.m. on September 22. Candidates newly allotted to courses and those who have to remit additional fee should do so at the banks between September 23 and September 25. During this period (till 5 p.m. on September 25), the candidates will also have the opportunity to either cancel higher order options or alter them. At 5 p.m. on September 26, the second re-allotment would be done online.

Candidates newly allotted to courses and those who have to remit higher fee should do so on September 27. Candidates who receive allotment to MBBS/BDS courses should join the respective colleges on September 28 and 29. Candidates who receive allotment to engineering/architecture and medical courses other than MBBS and BDS should join the respective colleges on September 28, 29 and 30. The admissions for MBBS/BDS courses would be completed on September 30. The schedule announced earlier and the allotments done on July 23 would be cancelled, the pressnote said.
