BSP suspends MP

NEW DELHI: Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Sunday suspended Rajya Sabha member Isam Singh from the party for indulging in "anti-party activities."

A party press release said Mr. Singh had made all kinds of accusations against the leadership. At a press conference on September 2, he charged Ms. Mayawati with having taken money for giving party ticket.
