KARUR: Government Arts College (Karur) defeated H.H. Rajah's College (Pudukottai) 38-23 to win the title at the Bharathidasan University inter-collegiate kabaddi tournament for women here.

The results: Third place: TUK Arts College (Thanjavur) bt M.R. College (Thathanur) 38-31. Semifinals: GAC bt TUK AC 49-43; H.H. Rajah's bt M.R. College 58-37.
