Endoscopic neurosurgery workshop concludes

Over 75 neurosurgeons take part

YERCAUD: The two-day annual endoscopic neurosurgery workshop on Current Applications of Endoscopic Neurosurgical techniques concluded here on Sunday.

Professor V. Rajashekar of Christian Medical College, Vellore, inaugurated the workshop, organised by the Department of Neurosurgery of Sri Gokulam Hospital (SGH), on Saturday.

More 75 neurosurgeons participated in the workshop and discussed various Endoscopic techniques and methods.

Lectures

Lectures on Endoscopic Management of Hydrocephalus, Endoscopic Management of Intraventricular and Juxta Ventricular Lesions, Endoscopic management of Pituitary Lesions, complications and avoidance were delivered.

Apart from the lectures, hands-on training was also provided to the participants of the workshop.

Eminent Endoscopic neurosurgeons from various institutions, including the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, spoke in the workshop, the press release said.
