Documentary on 108 service
District revenue officer Suryanarayana, the chief guest, said the 108 services were of great help in saving lives. Even now many people were unaware of the service, as such, he said, the documentary was aimed at creating awareness among them. The DRO said the 108 ambulance services, now available at three places - Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Amalapuram would soon be extended to places with 20,000 population with the arrival of 10 more ambulances by October.
