NEW DELHI: The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructural Development Corporation (DSIIDC) has won an ISO certification for 18 of its liquor vends, and all the back-end operations which lead to retail marketing such as inventory management, sales and marketing. According to DSIIDC spokesman Jagjiwan Bakhshi, the recognition has been given to DSIIDC liquor shops located in different areas of the Capital mostly in South Delhi. The latest to achieve an ISO certification is the Electronic Data Processing (EDP) Division of DSIIDC. The EDP has been awarded this certification for data, entry, software development and IT related training services. In addition to the work of the Corporation, the EDP Division also undertakes development of customised and cost effective software for various Departments of the Delhi Government. Earlier, the Works Division of the Corporation had bagged ISO certification for its project activities associated with development of industrial infrastructures, common effluent treatment plants and buildings including cost effective housing for industrial workers.
