Nutrition Week celebrations

CHENNAI: Health Secretary V.K. Subburaj on Friday highlighted the important role played by information-education-communication (IEC) methods in curbing childhood malnutrition.

Inaugurating the National Nutrition Week celebrations at the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children at Chennai, Mr. Subburaj said IEC methods had been responsible for bringing down the incidence of common diseases such as childhood malnutrition and anaemia.
