Traffic restrictions imposed for Ganesh idols immersion

HYDERABAD: The traffic police have imposed restrictions on movement of vehicles in the city on the occasion of immersion of Ganesh idols in the Hussainsagar on Wednesday.

Vehicles will not be allowed to proceed towards Kandikal Gate and will be diverted at Keshavagiri towards Santoshnagar, Champapet and L.B. Nagar from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Motorists will not be allowed to proceed towards Keshavagiri and will be diverted at Mahboob Nagar crossroads towards Falaknuma, Rythu Bazaar, Engine Bowli, New Shamshergunj, Kalapather and Bahadurpura from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vehicles coming from Chatrinaka will not be allowed to proceed towards Kandikal Gate and will be diverted towards Uppuguda from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Traffic will not be allowed to proceed towards Aliabad and will be diverted towards Jahanuma at Engine Bowli from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Motorists from Charminar will not be allowed to proceed towards Lal Darwaza and will be diverted at Nagulchinta `T' junction towards Sudha Talkies, Mir-ka-Dayara and Talabkatta from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vehicles coming from Charminar will not be allowed to proceed towards Shalibanda and will be diverted towards Motigalli, Himmatpura `T' junction and Moghalpura at Haribowli `T' junction from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Motorists will not be allowed to proceed towards Shalibanda and will be diverted towards Fire Station Moghalpura at Paris Café `T' junction from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vehicles coming from Kotla Alijah and Chowk Maidan will not be allowed towards Charminar and will be diverted towards Miralam Mandi from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic from Mitti-ka-Sher will not be allowed towards Gulzar Houz and will be diverted towards Ghansi Bazaar and Chelapura from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Motorists coming from Etbar Chowk will not be allowed to proceed towards Gulzar Houz and will be diverted towards Miralam Mandi from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Traffic will not be allowed to proceed towards New Bridge via High Court Road and will be diverted towards Begum Bazaar at Muslimjung bridge when the process reaches Gulzar Houz from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Afzalgunj area

Vehicles from Afzalgunj will not be allowed to proceed towards Madina and Charminar when the procession reaches Gulzar Houz from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic will not be permitted from IS Sadan towards Nalgonda crossroads and will be diverted towards outpost at Edi Bazaar. Vehicles will not be allowed to ply from Moosarambagh towards Nalgonda crossroads and will be diverted towards Amberpet.

Motorists coming from Saidabad will not be allowed towards Nalgonda crossroads and it will be diverted at Chanchalguda Jail. Vehicles from the State Library will not be allowed towards Afzalgunj when the procession reaches Madina crossroads from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Traffic from Gowliguda Chaman will not be allowed towards Seena Hotel.

Traffic will not be permitted to proceed towards M J. Market and will be diverted towards Gowliguda Telephone Exchange from Jambagh crossroads and Putlibowli crossroads from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Vehicles coming from Andhra Bank will not be allowed to proceed towards Putlibowli crossroads and will be diverted towards DMHS from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Motorists coming from Machli Market will not be allowed to proceed towards Afzalgunj Taxi Stand from Bartan Bazaar crossroads and will be diverted towards Muslimjung Bridge from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Traffic from Salar Jung bridge towards Rang Mahal will not be permitted and will be diverted towards Putlibowli crossroads.

Vehicles from Jumeerat Bazaar will not be allowed towards Siddiambar Bazaar and will be diverted towards Muslimjung Bridge from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Traffic from Feelkhana will not be allowed to proceed towards Old Begum Bazaar police station and M.J. Market and will be diverted towards Dar-us-Salam at Tope Khana Mosque and at Alaska `T' junction from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Traffic coming from Nampally will not be allowed to proceed towards M.J. Market crossroads and will be diverted towards Taj Ice-cream Island at Ajanta Gate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Vehicles coming from Chapel Road will not be permitted to proceed from Taj Ice-cream Island towards Ajanta Gate, M.J. Market and will be diverted towards Ek Minar Mosque from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Motorists coming from Hanuman Tekdi and Boggulkunta will not be allowed to proceed towards Abids via Reddy Hostel and Gadwal Centre and will be diverted towards Ramkote from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Traffic from Troop Bazaar will not be permitted towards Jambagh and it will be diverted towards Andhra Bank, Koti.

Vehicular Traffic from King Koti will not be allowed to proceed towards Taj Mahal Hotel and Basheerbagh crossroads and will be diverted towards New Science College near Shalimar Theatre and Christian Cemetery at Parda Gate in King Koti from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Abids side

Motorists coming from Emerald Hotel lane will not be allowed to proceed towards Abids from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Traffic will not be allowed to proceed towards Chermas and Abids from Chirag Ali lane and Chapel Road from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Traffic will not be allowed to proceed towards SBH crossroads from Sujatha High School and Chapel Road and will be diverted towards Abdul Rehaman petrol pump from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Vehicles will not be allowed towards B.J.R. Statue from Abdul Rehaman Petrol Bunk and Gunfoundary Road and will be diverted either towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharathi from 10 a.m. till midnight.

Motorists will not be allowed to proceed towards Basheerbagh crossroads from Skyline theatre from 1 p.m. till midnight. Traffic passing from Ravindra Bharathi to Old MLA Quarters via Ayakar Bhavan and vice-versa will be allowed at regular intervals .

Saifabad side

Traffic from Saifabad will not be allowed to proceed towards Secretariat and will be diverted towards Ravindra Bharathi from Iqbal Minar from 11 a.m. till midnight. Vehicles coming from Nampally will not be allowed to proceed towards Secretariat and will be diverted towards Lakdi-ka-Pul at Ravindra Bharathi crossroads from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursday.

Vehicles coming from Punjagutta and Raj Bhavan will not be allowed to proceed towards Budha Poornima via Khairatabad flyover and will be diverted towards Khairatabad from Visweswaraiah statue from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday. Motorists will not be allowed to proceed towards Liberty crossroads from Sadhu Ram Eye Hospital in Domalguda and Himayatnagar from 11 a.m. till midnight.

Secunderabad area

Vehicles coming from SBH crossroads will not be allowed towards Patny and will be diverted towards S.P. Road or St. Mary's Road, etc., from 1 p.m. till midnight. Traffic from CTO junction will not be permitted towards Paradise and will be diverted towards SBH or Rasoolpura from 1 p.m. till midnight.

Motorists from Rasoolpura crossroads towards Ranigunj will not be allowed and diverted towards Begumpet or CTO junction. Traffic will not be allowed from Garden Hotel to Patny and will be diverted at Garden Hoteltowards YMCA crossroads and Sangeet theatre. Vehicles coming from R.P. Road will be diverted towards Kavadiguda crossroads at Sailing Club.
